I have been working out at least five times a week since early 2018. I grew stronger and stronger over time but started hitting my limits in late 2018. Neither my strength or muscles were growing any bigger, even though I was spending 2-3 hours in the gym every day, and eating lots of protein. I knew I had to tweak my training but I was unsure how to do it, and I have always been skeptical of personal trainers because I was already lifting heavier weights than them, and honestly, I did not trust they could actually spot me if I had a muscle failure while lifting the barbell. On the other hand, I saw that some trainers had big muscles, but I never saw them doing bodyweight exercises, which is a sign they can't handle their own weight anymore. I don't want to be one of those guys that just looks big, but they are neither strong or flexible. Things remained the same until I saw this massive guy doing muscle-ups in the gym. I was surprised to see someone of that size doing bodyweight exercises, let alone muscle-ups. That guy was Jordan, who right away seemed approachable. Over the next couple months, I had a few interactions with Jordan, where he was keen to point out how I could build up the strength to do muscle-ups. He mentioned he was a personal trainer but never pushed me to get training. Eventually I asked Jordan if we could schedule 24 sessions, and so we did. Before my training began my weight was 170 lbs and I was 18% bodyfat. Two months later I was 188 lbs and 16% bodyfat. Training with Jordan got me out of that previous plateau, and three months later, I have been able to maintain my gains, still following Jordan's training routine.
When I started with Jordan I could barely squat! He quickly changed my training routine, adapting it to match my goals and body type. After months of sessions, I felt that I was on the right track. In every session he did something to push me out of my comfort zone, avoiding plateauing and pushing me in the right direction. After a few months of aligning the training with a good meal plan, I could see impressive results. Even when I experienced an injury playing soccer, he was able to adapt the training so I could quickly turn around the injury.
This man has changed my life. I’ve worked out with Jordan three days a week for a few months and I couldn’t have asked for a better coach. He continues to be a huge inspiration for me and has pushed me beyond what I thought I'd be able to accomplish. When I first saw Jordan at the gym I was like - how do I look like that man?! He’s goals! So, I came to Jordan seeking guidance on weightlifting. I had been working out for a couple years before but wasn’t seeing any results, and I honestly had very little confidence in what I was doing. I started with Jordan at 205 lbs then went up to 220, with 10+ lbs of increased lean muscle mass and a 6% decrease in bodyfat in just a couple months. I’m continuing my journey on my own now, at 225 lbs and still going strong. Jordan’s support has helped me be more confident, not only in my workouts, supplement intake and diet, but more so in myself. He’s become like a big brother to me, who I look up to. I’ve released the beast inside me and I’ve never felt better!
Jordan is an amazing trainer! He was able to break down the steps to help me achieve my goals and gave me in-depth tips and advice on how to progress to the next level. He also included information on how to not only avoid injury, but how to work around injuries. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to build muscle, but also how to train for function and explosive power. It's very rare to find a trainer that can do it all, let alone teach it all. When I started training with Jordan, I came to him not knowing much about strength or bodybuilding. Jordan is someone who listens carefully to your fitness goals and helps you achieve them with all his efforts.
